Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified developmental disability professional “QDDP” is required to have the following qualifications:

  • Possess at least one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have a developmental disability and one of the following credentials:
  •  A doctor of medicine or osteopathy licensed in Virginia,
  • A registered nurse licensed in Virginia, or
  • Completion of at least a bachelor’s degree in a human services field, including sociology, social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED and must meet all requirements for employment.
  • Must have experience in the field of Developmental Disability Disabilities.
